- Body Language: Is used to identify the characters emotions/feelings.
- Costumes: Is used to tell the characters wealth or personality.
- Hairstyles: Is used to tell the personality of the character.
- Color: Is used to help set the mood of the scene.
- Lighting: Is used to help something or someone stand out in the scene.
- Props: Is used to make the scene more realistic or interactive.
- Settings: Is used to help describe the scene.
- Dialogue: Is used to make a sudden plot and/or to reveal something new about the character.
- Sound Effects: Is used to make the scene more realistic and make it more dramatic.
- Music: Is used to either set the mood of the scene or make an ongoing scene more exciting.
- Silence: Is used to make a dramatic scene, tense scene or serious scene.
- Objects: Is used to suggest new ideas.
- Special FX: Is used to make the film/scene look more realistic.
